Hey everyone! I hope you all are as excited for this trip as I am! My name is Darby Biasotto. I have a million nicknames! Most people end up calling me Darb, Darbs, doodles, bob, kinda whatever they want! 

I'm currently living at the University of Delaware, where I study. This is my first semester of school and so far, I love it! I've met a lot of really cool people and I still see most of my friends from high school! I haven't declared a major yet, and honestly I have NO idea what I wanna do! I have so many interests that it's hard to pick one! I've done theater sense I was 5 or 6, I love little kids, I love music, I love fashion and I'm really interested in social justice. So at this point I'm just praying that God points me in the right direction.

I've done professional theater and film sense I was a kid, nannyed, and had a job at my local mall. However, currently I'm just a full time student. No job right now.

In my free time, and all the time, I just like to laugh! I love being goofy with friends! I love to sing and dance and play my guitar! I'm really close to my family. I have 2 little brothers and an older sister! We're all really goofy and like to have water fights around the house (with my parents). I spend basically all my time with my friends! We love to leave candy on peoples door steps and run away so that they have a secret special surprise! Other than that, I just like to hang out, play ninja, and anything else crazy! I'm pretty high energy and really social!

I love glitter, and sparkles! I also LOVE shoes! I'm really involved with the organization Invisible Children. I've been really interested in social justice sense I was in middle school. I really feel led to do something in the social justice field, I'm just not sure what aspect of it yet! I'm a pretty open person, so feel free to ask me anything! I've seen some of you on facebook, so if I haven't seen you yet please feel free to friend request me! I'm just under my name, Darby Biasotto.

I am ridiculously excited to go to Uganda with y'all! I have been wanting to go to Uganda for the past 7 years probably! I cannot wait to see how God uses and grows in each and everyone of us! I'm praying for you all tons and i CANNOT wait to meet you! That being said, I am a little scared too! I have no idea what to expect! While that's super awesome, it can also be a little intimidating! I've been praying a lot about this trip and I really feel God telling me to let go of my reservations, and to just trust Him with this. He has a reason for me to go. Also, this might sound a little strange, but I feel God telling me I need to be strong for this trip, physically strong. I've always been a really active person and exercise has always been a priority of mine, but right now I feel Him telling me to be prepared physically as well as spiritually. So I'm listening and doing what He says! A little strange, I know, but we'll see!
