Above and Beyond!

The call is far above and beyond what one could imagine. I, and my team are now on our last official day of training camp. None of us would have expected to gain what we have, or experience the things we have, but they have happened.

 Coming into training camp I didn’t really know what to expect. I somewhat expected to be doing a lot of ridiculous things that didn’t make much sense, and bonding with our new family (mission team)..all of these things happened, but not like I expected… Our first full day of camp was purely focused on us. Focused on our hearts and what was in them, which was a lot. God began revealing the chains of fear, guilt, shame, condemnation, doubt.. He[God] began this trip by breaking each and everyone of us down. Breaking our expectations, fears, doubts, pride, etc, and showing us exactly what He wanted to replace those chains with.

Sense then, God has been in a process of building us up, as a team, as individuals, and even more so as HIS possession. We have been growing in knowledge, love, grace, power of our Creator and Savior, but this process is yet to be finished.

All in all, the three words that describe training camp for me are Above and Beyond. We, I would never have known what to expect, but God knew what to expect because He already had it planned out…And His plan is Above and Beyond what we, what I, ever expected.

“We have come to give You glory,

We have come to give You praise!

You’re welcome in this place!”
